Seth Rosenzweig

Title:  Chief Creative Officer/ Project Coordinator

As Chief Creative Officer, Seth Rosenzweig, is excited to bring his creativity and extensive experience in implementing and organizing special events and diversity programming, to assist the Rise Above Tour in maximizing its impact and reach.

Prior to joining the Rise Above Tour and C.OR.E. Seth was Chief Operating Officer of a nonprofit that developed surfing events throughout the United States for individuals with spinal cord injury.  During his time with this organization, Seth expanding their programming to five new states, and developed and implemented a high school and university education and outreach program called, C.U.R.E. S.C.I.  (Campuses Understanding Responsible Education about Spinal Cord Injury).   Through this experience Seth quickly became well respected by members of the disability community and was recognized for his diverse range of skills, but more importantly his ability to show compassion and motivate and inspire individuals with challenging conditions.

Prior to this experience, Seth was the Program Director at the Hillel of San Diego at San Diego State University.  Seth was responsible for assisting students in becoming well rounded individuals by promoting diversity and values based programming.  He also developed international volunteering programs for students in Israel, Brazil and Uruguay, where students not only volunteered to help underprivileged communities, but also gained a new appreciation for some of the challenges facing various populations in the world, including the United States.

It was during one of these trips to Brazil, that Seth realized he could do more to change the world and decided to obtain a masters degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego.

While Seth brings a significant amount of experience with him, perhaps his greatest asset is an ability to relate to those challenged with potentially disabling conditions.  In 2008, Seth was told by his doctor that he was obese and at severe risk for becoming diabetic.  Upon connecting with C.O.R.E., Aaron Baker served as a role model for Seth, helping him find the drive and dedication he needed to enhance his lifestyle.  Just over one year later, Seth has dropped his percentage of body fat from 42% to just under 20%.   Seth continues to work hard at not only at his own healthy lifestyle, but to teach others the benefits of ongoing Restorative Exercise.

The possibilities are endless...
