Focus clothing is a business project I've been involved with for a few years now. My pal Matt and I are designing and marketing this grassroots style clothing line because we believe in and apply the name..."FOCUS". A good portion of my free time is spent brainstorming new ideas with Matt, continuously creating progressive designs and styles for our future lines. We are a lifestyle brand, crossing the "niche" boundary with our all inclusive voice. Focus clothing is committed to quality over quantity, bringing detailed collections for finer living. I am proud to promote our creative work and hope it is well received by our friends. For a closer look and to shop online visit http://www.focusdenim.com/ |

A downward spiral of illness has enraptured my week... yet again! When I tell of secondary complications typical of spinal cord injury this is what I mean... A depleted immune system for example. Yes, multiple ailments among the average person is not so uncommon, however my current condition exacerbates the common cold or flu and turns it into a much more serious state. For the record, this is now the 4th time since Christmas I have been stricken with some sort of bug. Maybe it's the abnormal fluctuation in the weather patterns this year, maybe it's the change in my training routine, maybe my girlfriend has something to do with it! I think it's a good combination of all things considered. So for now I will remedy myself as best I can and hopefully build a wall of immunity with pedal strokes, weight plates and fruit shakes! |

A contrast of events... The days leading up to my recent hospital stay were stale, ill days, consisting of rest and restless mind. I was becoming quite irritated with the amount of down time I was spending trying to kick my cold. My insistent decision of activity to boost my immune system landed me admittance to the Henry Mayo emergency room where an adverse reaction from a breathing treatment tormented my body. For three day's I absorbed a steady stream of IV fluid and heavy antibiotics while resting in a hospital bed. Mid week I was released with instructions of continued rest. Fortunately Friday I felt well enough to lightly peddle the stationary cycle at the gym in conjunction with thorough stretching. I look forward to increased energy and intense bouts of exercise. I hope to avoid the hospital at all costs, knowing that self induced suffering in the gym, or on the bike is far more pleasurable than needle pricks, machine ticks or IV drips... |
